Virginia Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists receives $1500 from Sentara Health to support the 2025 VACNS Annual Conference: Growing Innovation
Funding supports collaborative partnership with Sentara Health
Richmond, Virginia January 6, 2025 — The Virginia Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (VaCNS), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community, is pleased to announce a generous contribution of $1500 from Sentara Health to assist with the VaCNS 2025 Annual Conference: Growing Innovation. The $1500 donation from Sentara will be utilized by the VaCNS to support educational opportunities for the continuing professional development of the Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

It also gives CNS students the opportunity to showcase their work along with networking with CNS mentors. The VaCNS formed in 2010 as an affiliate of the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists.
